Summer Office Hours: We will have regular office hours in the morning from 8:00am – 1:00pm, Monday through Friday during the summer months. Afternoon hours will be intermittent.

High-Risk Service: At their meeting this past week, the elders decided, in an effort to continue serving all members of Good Shepherd, to designate the 9:15am service as a high-risk service. Since it has had the lowest average attendance of the four weekly services, it was felt it would be easiest to maintain maximum social distancing at it. While all members are still welcome to attend the 9:15 service, we would ask that, as a courtesy to other worshippers, all 9:15am worshippers wear a face-covering. No changes will take place at the Thursday, 8:00, or 10:30 service. Thank you for your understanding and your patience as we continue to work through these challenging circumstances together.

LES Parent Meeting: There will be a parent meeting on Sunday, August 30 following the 10:30 AM service. Students will also have the opportunity to take their school supplies to their classrooms.

MLS is looking to hire a part-time school nurse. This is a 20-25 hour per week position needed for weekday mornings during the school year. Required duties would include student medication distribution, coordinating and transporting students to medical appointments, communicating with parents regarding the health of their children, and reporting of health statistics to the local health department. MLS is in need of a full-time female janitor. With the primary role of housekeeping in the girls’ dormitory, this position will also perform various custodial and light maintenance duties for assigned areas throughout our campus. The required duties may include cleaning, organizing, setup and breakdown for campus events, and assisting with seasonal duties as needed. This is a temporary position with the potential to grow into a permanent member of the MLS staff.
