News & Notes

June 28, 2020

Summer Office Hours: We will have regular office hours in the morning from 8:00am – 1:00pm, Monday through Friday during the summer months. Afternoon hours will be intermittent.

High-Risk Service: At their meeting this past week, the elders decided, in an effort to continue serving all members of Good Shepherd, to designate the 9:15am service as a high-risk service. Since it has had the lowest average attendance of the four weekly services, it was felt it would be easiest to maintain maximum social distancing at it. While all members are still welcome to attend the 9:15 service, we would ask that, as a courtesy to other worshippers, all 9:15am worshippers wear a face-covering. No changes will take place at the Thursday, 8:00, or 10:30 service. Thank you for your understanding and your patience as we continue to work through these challenging circumstances together.

Voters’ Assembly: July 21st is the date for our regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting. The Voters’ Meetings are where the business of our church is conducted, and it is important that voters make an effort to attend. If, for some reason, it is impossible for you to attend, please call the church office or council secretary Jason Yopp.

Summer Play Dates: Mark your calendars! We have picked some dates for our summer playdates at school. We hope you will be able to join us. There are two morning dates and one in the evening.

  • Wednesday, July 15 @ 10:00-noon (inside game day if rained out)
  • Friday, August 7 @ 7:00 p.m.-?? (bonfire)
